St. Thomas Surge U7 (Paperweight) House League
The St. Thomas Surge U7 (Paperweight) House League program is designed for young athletes turning 5 or 6 years old in the current playing year. The program introduces players to the exciting game of lacrosse in a fun, supportive, and development-focused environment right here in our community.
No tryouts are required! U7 House League welcomes both new and returning players, providing an accessible opportunity for every child to learn, develop, and enjoy the game.
Players will develop fundamental lacrosse skills, build confidence, learn teamwork, and experience structured gameplay through age-appropriate instruction and competition. Our focus is on creating a positive experience that encourages skill development, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of lacrosse.

U7 players are required to wear full box lacrosse equipment, including a lacrosse stick, lacrosse gloves, a CSA-approved helmet with face mask, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm and elbow guards, rib and/or back pads, and an athletic support and cup.
